Lakes & Bay Communications is a new type of media consultancy which helps
companies, authorities and other organisations to communicate with colleagues,
peers, customers and the media.

Its area stretches from Morecambe around the Furness Peninsula and takes in the
South Lake District Area, as far North as Keswick, and the conurbations of Barrow,
Lancaster and Kendal, although commissions would be accepted from further
afield.

It provides communications advice to organisations in the following ways:
• Freelance copy writing
• Marketing, Media and political campaigns
• Setting up and training of key personnel on how to produce staff
newsletters by e-mail or intranet bulletins
• Setting up and training key staff on cascading information
throughout their organisations, in lines with the best practices as
outlined under the Investors in People standard
• Providing a freelance “How to deal with the Media” service, with
allied training, including how to write, target and time media releases
